LSG Sky Chefs with over 75 years of Catering history is hiring immediately for Full-Time team players to prepare products for our Airline, E-Commerce, and Retail customers. We are the world’s leading provider of end-to–end airline products and services with a fast growing footprint in Convenience Retail and Subscription Food Service.

• Responsibilities include maintaining the cleanliness of work areas throughout the building (offices, restrooms, storerooms, and food production areas).
• Follow all health and safety regulations as set by the FDA and company sanitation standards.
• Dusting, mopping, sweeping, and vacuuming
• Cleaning smudges off windows and doors
• Ensuring restrooms are cleaned, sanitized, and restocked
• Washing walls and glass
• Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
• Perform and document routine inspection and maintenance activities
• Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
• Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
• Coordinating with other Cleaners to keep the building clean
• Cleaning spills, broken glass and other messes up as quickly as possible
  
  Refilling supplies, such as toilet paper and paper towels

• Hands-on experience with industrial washing machines is a plus but not required.
• Attention to detail and sanitation rules
• Follow all health and safety regulations
• Have knowledge of various cleaning chemicals and supplies
• Be able to handle heavy equipment and machinery

• Familiarity with Material Safety Data Sheets, also a plus
• Proven working experience as a Cleaner is a definite plus
• Be 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States
• Pass a background check and clear a drug screen
• Be able to stand for the FULL duration of the shift
• Be available to work in a 38- degree cold room, only when necessary
• Be a team player and work well with a diverse team from all over the world!
• Ability to comprehend verbal & written specifications in English
• Possess basic math skills
• MUST be able to work a Flexible schedule;
  This is a 24 hour operation, 7 days a week

• This is a Union Position- must be willing to pay union dues after 60 days
• Must be available to work a full-time position, including Weekends and Holidays as needed
• Must be able to complete the application/orientation process in English
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds occasionally, 50+ pounds frequently & 10+ pounds consistently. Bend / stoop & twist repeatedly & stand for 8 – 12 hours a day
