The Maintenance Store Person is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operation of the Maintenance Store, ensuring spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials are accurately stored, controlled, and readily available to support site operations. Working closely with Maintenance, Engineering, and Operations teams, the role focuses on inventory accuracy, warehouse organisation, safety compliance, and timely support of maintenance activities.
Key Strengths Required- Strong inventory and stock control experience.
- Warehouse and store management capability.
- High level of organisation and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and stock locations.
- Commitment to workplace safety and quality standards.
- Experience working independently and managing competing priorities.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to support multiple stakeholders.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience with spare parts, maintenance stores, or industrial warehouse environments would be highly regarded.
- Forklift licence and experience with inventory management systems are advantageous.
The ideal candidate is a proactive and dependable store person with experience in inventory management within a manufacturing, engineering, maintenance, or industrial environment. They will be highly organised, safety-focused, and capable of supporting site operations by ensuring critical maintenance stock is well managed, easily accessible, and accurately controlled. Experience working with maintenance spare parts, CMMS systems, forklift operation, or industrial stores would be highly advantageous.
