The Cleaner role is a part-time, on-site position based in Henrico County, VA. In this role, the Cleaner will perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces in commercial spaces. Responsibilities include maintaining restrooms, break areas, and common spaces, emptying trash and recycling, and ensuring all assigned areas meet company cleanliness and safety standards. The Cleaner may assist with specialized services such as construction cleaning, floor care, and occasional deep cleaning projects as needed.

The role also involves following established schedules, using cleaning equipment safely, and communicating any maintenance or safety issues to supervisors.

• Strong skills in general cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and restroom sanitation.
• Ability to follow cleaning procedures and safety protocols, including the proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Reliability in maintaining schedules, attention to detail, and commitment to high-quality results.
• Capability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, lifting moderate weights, and moving equipment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a commercial environment.
• Prior commercial or janitorial cleaning experience is beneficial but not required.
• Willingness to learn green cleaning practices and support the company’s environmental and customer service standards.
