Position Summary

Summerfield is seeking an experienced and motivated Lead Maintenance Technician to oversee maintenance operations and ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of our community. This leadership role is responsible for coordinating maintenance activities, supervising team members, and delivering exceptional service to residents and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support daily maintenance operations.
• Perform and oversee preventive and corrective maintenance on buildings, equipment, and systems.
• Coordinate work orders and ensure timely completion of maintenance requests.
• Supervise, train, and mentor maintenance staff.
• Conduct routine inspections to identify repair and safety needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Manage maintenance supplies, tools, and inventory.
• Assist with emergency maintenance response as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in property, facility, or building maintenance.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general repair practices.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
