Sanitation Operator you will be responsible for the general clean‑up of the entire facility (facility is a food processing facility). Includes production common areas, bathrooms, offices, QC/R&D Labs, and warehouse areas.
How will you contributeTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable qualified individuals with disabilities to perform essential job functions. Essential job functions and duties include, but are not limited to:
- Facility cleaning (common areas, halls, and traffic areas, building exteriors, warehouse) following a master sanitation schedule and documenting as required
- Cleaning of all Restrooms (production and office restrooms), keeping supplies stocked
- Cleaning of all Break rooms, stocking supplies as required
- Cleaning of QC/R&D Labs, and office areas
- Maintaining ground free of trash, debris & dirt
- Removal of cobwebs, insects etc. throughout facility
- Maintain housekeeping and sanitation of areas according to company GMPs and SOPs. Maintain required documentation
- Maintenance requirements (change light bulbs, AC filter change, vent cleaning, etc.) as scheduled on sanitation schedule
- Other duties as assigned
- HS Diploma or GED
- Must be mechanically inclined
- Ability to use various types of cleaning equipment such as brooms, mops, floor scrubbers, and buckets
- Ability to read procedures and safety information in English
- Forklift experience is a plus
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel crouch, climb, use ladders, and perform various types of manual labor
- Occasionally, the employee may be required to lift to up 50 pounds
- While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to extreme heat and cold temperatures and sometimes wet conditions
- May involve exposure to allergens such as Soy, Wheat, Fish, Shellfish, Milk, Egg, Tree Nuts and Sesame.

This position is currently classified as on-site.

The final salary offered for this position may take into account a number of factors including, but not limited to, location, skills, education, and experience.
