Trash Technician

Job Summary

We are hiring immediately for a full‑time Trash Technician position at Ascension Providence Hospital located at 6901 Medical Parkway, Waco, TX 76712.

Pay Range: $15.00 per hour to $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

Full time, Monday through Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. Rotating weekends (including both Saturday and Sunday) are required.

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio‑hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Must have the physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
• Prior experience handling waste is preferred.
