Primary PurposeDevelop, implement, and oversee quality assurance protocols and training for custodial services, conduct inspections and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written instructions for cleaning, maintenance, and safety procedures
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment and properly handle cleaning supplies
- Ability to lift heavy equipment
- Strong understanding of cleanliness, hygiene and safety standards applicable to educational institutions
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement solutions
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with diverse stakeholders in a positive and efficient manner
- Proficiency in using computer applications and software for documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
Previous experience in quality assurance, facility management preferred, or 2 years custodial services.
Major Responsibilities and Duties- Lead custodians
- Custodians
- Buffer, wet and dry vacuums, mops, brooms, and any other equipment associated with custodial trade.
- Tobacco Free
- Maintain emotional control under stress; people intensive; frequent interruptions.
- Continuous standing, stooping, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, bending, pushing and pulling, grasping, squeezing, twisting, reaching (including overhead) must be able to lift and carry items weighing up to 75 pounds.
- Working indoors, outdoors, in extreme temperatures including hot and cold temperature swings, inclement weather, works with chemicals, exposure to dust, and slippery or uneven walking surfaces.
- Will work within the school premises, conducting inspections and collaborating with custodial staff and other stakeholders.
