Broadband Technician Responsibilities

• Perform residential installs and disconnects (data, video, phone) on customer premises according to organizational standards and specs.
• Provide a positive customer experience by ensuring correct RF and signal levels within specifications before completion, reducing repeat calls and truck rolls.
• Maintain appropriate levels of communication with leadership and dispatch, ensuring a highly productive route while sustaining performance metrics, safety, and time management.
• Provide customer education, focusing on new/existing products and services, and upsell opportunities that may increase customer satisfaction.
• Operate company vehicle safely and responsibly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Entry Level (0 years).
• Maintain a satisfactory driving record and possess a valid driver’s license.
• Knowledge of ladder, hand or power tools.
• Customer service, communication (verbal and written), basic computer skills.
• Aptitude to learn new skills, problem solving, time management, teamwork, and ability to work independently.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Work performed in both climate‑controlled and non‑climate‑controlled environments, with potential exposure to heat, cold, dust, damp conditions, uneven surfaces, heights, and moving vehicles.
• Prolonged standing, walking, sitting, and driving required.
• Ability to safely climb and work from ladders for extended periods.
• Frequent reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs and ladders, and using hands above and below shoulder level.
• Ability to bend, twist, kneel, squat, crawl and maintain various body positions, perform fine motor tasks, forceful gripping, and limited keyboarding.
