HOURLY

WACO FACILITY (Waco, Texas)

• Performs typical maintenance tasks to support the assembly floor and the entire facility.
• Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the department supervisor.
• Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
• Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on machinery, building, or grounds as required.

• Must be able to perform plumbing, electrical assistance for the facilities electrician, machine repair, plant layout, and janitorial tasks.
• Familiar with and proficient in the use of hand and power tools common to the listed disciplines.
• Able to read and interpret drawings, sketches, OEM instructions, and specifications.
• Comfortable working in a team environment and with outside contractors.
• Requires considerable judgment when performing and planning tasks.

• Must be familiar with the wastewater system.
• Must have a good work history and attendance record.
• Must have a history of safe work practices.
• Must be familiar with plant safety policies.
• Must assist in Dewatering Room.
• Must be able to check and repair pumps.
• Must replace gear oil when necessary.
• Must be able to perform all maintenance required in the wastewater department.
• Must obey all USDA, HACCP, and PLANT rules and regulations including safety.
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
• Training requirements:
  General safety, Lock‑Out‑Tag‑Out, HAZMAT.
• Physical demands: some heavy lifting and considerable moving of equipment required; lifting objects up to 70 lbs.

• High School / GED or tech school education.

• Exposed to a combination of normal office type environments and shop environments.
• Regularly exposed to dust, odors, oil, fumes, and noise.
