Job Description

At Main Event, our Technicians maintain the FUN! As a Technician, Tech III, you are knowledgeable about the mechanics and operations of our games and entertainment options and ensure they are performing properly and safely. You support the maintenance of the center’s equipment, building, and systems, and are dedicated to delivering the highest standards in safety and sanitation.

• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Welcome and engage with guests as a FUN ambassador.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, and technical work related to construction, repairs, preventive and scheduled maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair games, tellers, pinsetters, etc.
• Disassemble, replace, and repair mechanical and electrical components or parts such as bearings, coils, armatures, and wiring.
• Maintain accurate inventory records.
• Order supplies, tools, and materials as needed.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the mechanic shop and facility.
• Support the business in the absence of the Technical Services Manager.

• Age 18 or older.
• At least 2 years of general knowledge/skill set in repair and maintenance of automated bowling equipment and arcade games.
• Guest-focused mindset.
• Strong teamwork, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to learn and utilize multiple systems that support the business.
• Practical application of electronics, mechanics, and hydraulics.
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools; ability to use and handle tools to perform work.
• Ability to perform work on ladders.
• Ability to handle equipment up to 250 lbs.
• Knowledgeable of OSHA regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to wear and work in personal protective equipment.
• Effective communication with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Salary Range: $12.25 - $16.50 per hour.
