Facilities Technician A
The Facilities Technician A is responsible for supporting daily facility operations by performing a wide range of maintenance, repair, and general facilities support tasks to ensure the site remains safe, functional, and operational. This position provides essential services and resources that support business operations, customer requests, and overall facility efficiency.
In addition to routine maintenance responsibilities, the Facilities Technician A performs a variety of facility support tasks, including replacing ceiling tiles and light bulbs, installing whiteboards, hanging signage and banners, setting up offices and work spaces, moving furniture and equipment, and completing other miscellaneous facilities-related assignments as needed to support site operations.
Essential Functions:
Repairs, preventative maintenance work orders, support site events, replace ceiling tiles, carpet square, replace light bulbs, trash removal because the workload is ongoing and critical to daily business operations.
Qualifications:
· Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
· Valid Texas Driver's license, Forklift certification
· High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Organizational and communication skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities. Professional customer service skills
Preferred Additional skills:
- Ability to meet all site access, background check, and safety training requirements.
· Ability to maintain compliance with 8210D requirements, including tool accountability, tool inventory control, and Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prevention and control.
· Ability to work during normal business hours and occasional after-hours support if needed.
