Monday – Friday. The normal setting for this job is our waste disposal facility in Waikoloa, HI.
Key Responsibilities- Repair equipment including bulldozers, scrapers, backhoes, front end loaders, yard trucks, farm tractors, forklifts, and company cars
- Diagnose and repair differentials, hydraulic systems, motors, transmissions, drives, air conditioning systems, and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance as set out by the site checklist
- Handle paperwork and administrative tasks such as work orders, card files, PM checklists, and oil samples
- Service and maintain other equipment such as light plants, water pumps, welders, and other support equipment
- A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Be over 18 years of age
- Legally eligible to work in the United States
- Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position with or without reasonable accommodations
- Successfully complete and pass a pre‑employment drug screen and physical exam
Required to exert physical effort that includes frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, crouching, and climbing; constantly standing, walking, and grasping; occasional sitting and balancing. Exposure to physical occupational risks such as cuts, burns, chemicals, and adverse environmental conditions (dirt, odors, noise, extreme heat/humidity, inclement weather) is frequent. The job operates both indoors in garage, shop, or gas plant conditions and outdoors in inclement weather conditions.
