Position

Full‑time Janitor – Walker, MI

Location:

3415 Northridge Dr NW, Walker, MI 49544.

Pay Range: $15.00–$17.00 per hour.

Schedule:

Full‑time, multiple shifts available.

Requirement:
Previous janitorial experience preferred.

Keeps buildings clean and orderly by performing heavy cleaning duties, including cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, washing walls and glass, and removing rubbish.

• Collect and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans.
• Dust and damp mop floors following approved procedures.
• Move equipment and furniture for proper cleaning and return furniture to its original placement.
• Clean assigned areas using assigned materials and equipment. Sanitize all surfaces following the eight‑step cleaning procedure.
• Wash walls, windows, furniture, baseboards, and other items to maintain a clean, safe environment for patients, visitors and staff.
• Seek out areas requiring cleaning; take initiative to complete the task.
• Complete all tasks assigned by supervisor.
• Perform tasks in accordance with all federal, state and county guidelines.
• Strip, scrub, buff and refinish floors; shampoo carpet.
• Contribute to the team; exhibit professionalism with customers, fellow employees and others.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
