Maintenance Supervisor
A healthcare facility is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility. We are looking for a dependable, hands-on professional with strong knowledge of general building maintenance, repairs, and facility operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience with carpentry, flooring, plumbing, light electrical work, and HVAC repairs
, along with the ability to identify maintenance needs, prioritize repairs, and ensure the facility remains safe, functional, and well maintained.
Oversee the day-to-day maintenance and upkeep of the facility
Perform and coordinate general maintenance and repair work
Identify maintenance issues and ensure they are addressed in a timely manner
Perform carpentry, installation, finish work, painting, patching, and other general repairs
Assist with flooring installation and repairs
Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs
Repair and maintain equipment and appliances
Coordinate with outside contractors and skilled tradespeople as needed
Prioritize maintenance requests and respond to facility needs
Help maintain a safe, clean, and functional environment for residents, staff, and visitors
Ensure maintenance areas, equipment, and work spaces are kept organized
Work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Perform other duties as assigned
Previous experience in maintenance, facilities, or building operations
Strong hands‑on experience with carpentry, flooring, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve general maintenance issues
Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills
Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
Reliable, responsible, and detail‑oriented
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in a healthcare setting, such as a nursing home, assisted living facility, or hospital, is required
Previous supervisory or leadership experience is preferred
