ARMO Supervisor

About the Role

AARMO Supervisor assembles complex components per assembly drawings / bill of material. Performs functional testing on assemblies per customer/division criteria and operates test equipment in compliance with engineering standards.

• Perform preventive, routine, and breakdown maintenance on flexible pipe systems and associated equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, determining necessary repairs or replacements.
• Execute maintenance tasks in accordance with standard operating procedures and safety guidelines.
• Conduct regular inspections of assets to identify potential issues or areas for improvement.
• Perform functional and pressure testing of equipment to ensure operational readiness.
• Document findings and report any significant issues to the ARMO Shop Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts usage.
• Prepare and submit maintenance logs, service reports, and other required documentation to the ARMO Shop Manager.
• Assist in tracking inventory levels of spare parts and tools.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance tasks.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with relevant industry standards and company policies.
• Participate in safety meetings and training sessions as required.
• Work closely with the ARMO Shop Manager and other team members to prioritize and complete maintenance tasks.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior technicians when needed.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by offering feedback on processes and procedures.

• Experience in maintenance or repair roles, preferably in marine or industrial environments.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands‑on technical skills, proficiency using maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and software.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Hydraulic trained, capable of controlling pressures up to 20k psi on small‑bore tubing, running an HPU, diagnosing faults, building hydraulic system circuitry, piping, fittings, hoses.
• Knowledge of SCM and SEM testing, ability to explain purpose of a SCM and SEM and DCVs.
• Ability to fault‑find electrical circuits, test electrical harnesses, connectors, etc.
• Confidence to run an ETU and use a laptop config engine to control testing.
• Hyperbaric experience.
• Familiarity with ISO 13628‑6 and API 17F.
• Ability to use PAMAS / cleanliness check device.
• Experience writing JSAs, risk assessments, COSHH assessments.
• Experience stripping down SCMs and rebuilding.
