Building Automation HVAC Systems Associate Project Manager
Location:
Houston, TX (serving greater Houston area)
Role:
Associate Project Manager responsible for the coordination and delivery of multiple simultaneous HVAC automation projects with a financial impact of less than $100K. Key responsibilities include fiscal cost reporting, project billing, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
- Review project specifications, drawings, and documents to establish project intent.
- Develop and maintain a project schedule; coordinate time‑sensitive installation requirements with the project team.
- Requisition supplies and materials to complete projects.
- Review plans, specifications, and participate in project cost reviews.
- Assist the Operations Manager in soliciting and contracting subcontractors.
- Conduct orientations for project technicians and provide comprehensive documentation (scope of work, drawings, specifications, etc.).
- Track resources and project progress.
- Document events impacting schedule, scope, or efficiency.
- Pursue project‑specific change‑order opportunities.
- Coordinate and pursue project billing, collaborating with the Accounting team and Operations Manager.
- Schedule commissioning resources and provide documentation.
- Expedite return of project mark‑ups for as‑built development.
- Complete project close‑out documentation.
- Adhere to local, corporate, and OSHA safety policies; report unsafe conditions.
Basic Qualifications:
- Technical experience in the HVAC controls industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of HVAC industry applications; ability to read MEP drawings, specifications, and electrical, network, and control wiring diagrams.
- Knowledge of industry‑standard communication protocols such as Ethernet, Modbus, and BACnet.
- Minimum age 21, valid driver’s license with limited violations; eligible to participate in Siemens' fleet vehicle program.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3+ years of technical experience in the HVAC controls industry.

Salary RangeThe pay range for this position is $55,264 – $94,738 annually with a target incentive of 5% of the base salary. The actual wage offered may vary based on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, and qualifications.
