Technician; Singaporean & Residents

JOB SUMMARY

The Technician will be required to provide swift, friendly and efficient service at assigned areas. He/she is to maintain working order of machineries, tools, equipment, and residential furnishings.

• Adhere to sound engineering practices, building codes and follow safety precautions.

• Perform preventative maintenance on tools and equipment, including cleaning and lubrication, visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines.

• To execute preventive management and repair schedules of the machinery, equipment, and facilities of our residences

• Inspect and maintain machinery, troubleshoots, diagnoses, repair or replaces defective systems or components.

• Use the Lockout/Tagout system before performing any maintenance work.

• Daily routine check of the pump room, consumer switch room, MDF rooms.

• Assist Engineering Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Engineering Department.

• Perform repairs in the common areas, amenity spaces, and occasionally residential units (upon request).

• Participate in fire-fighting and safety & fire evacuation exercises.

• Address Residence owners’ in a professional, positive, and timely manner.

• Actively listen and respond positively to the Residence owners questions, concerns, and requests using brand or property-specific process resolve issues, delight, and build trust.

• Communicate with Concierge team on engineering work status, to ensure owners and residents are informed timely

• To ensure that our residents are satisfied with the quality of services rendered by the Engineering Department

• To ensure that our assets within the residences are kept in good working condition, thereby preserving its long term value.

• Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance

• problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and

• properly store flammable materials.

• To comply with Marriott standards in terms of maintenance upkeep & Fire Life Safety.

• Basic skills in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing of building equipments

• Willingness to work as a team

• Knowledge of Hotel / Residences Maintenance and Management

• Knowledge of Mechanical / Electrical / Plumbing & Building Engineering

• Electrical control & trouble-shooting skills
