Afternoon Custodian

Position:
Afternoon Custodian at Bascom Elementary School 2:30 p.m.

- 10:30 p.m.

Reports To:

Superintendent

Qualifications:

Possess a high school diploma or GED. Any combination of training and work experience which indicates possession of the knowledge, skills and abilities listed below. Documentation of a clear criminal record. Successful pre-employment drug screening. Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate and acceptable.

Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Knowledge and skill in the utilization of equipment, materials and supplies commonly used in maintenance and custodial services. Develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates, supervisor and the general public. Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to follow directions and initiate routines. Ability to perform manual labor tasks. Be in good physical condition.

Contract:

260 days, which includes 12 paid holidays. 8 hours per day.

Salary:
In accordance with the negotiated agreement with OAPSE Local 278.
