Perform routine manual work with responsibility for efficient performance of custodial services in and around City buildings. Must have ability to work during the afternoons or days. Work involves routine custodial services, maintenance, repairs, upkeeps of grounds, public buildings, facilities and equipment; the safe and efficient operation of light to heavy-duty power-driven equipment.
Requirements- High school graduation or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Must present ORIGINAL diploma or sealed transcripts at time of application.
- One (1) year of experience (preferred) in general mechanical work in public, commercial or industrial buildings.
- One (1) year of experience in custodial work in public, commercial or industrial buildings.
- Possession of a valid license to operate a motor vehicle in the State of Michigan.
- Driving record must meet city’s standards for insurability.
$22.18/hour (Flat Rate)
* Does not include the contractual increase of 7/1/26
