Maintenance Millfitter Technician

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Millfitter Technician, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance of all plant systems. Our maintenance work includes both predictive and preventive maintenance. You will play a major role in machine reliability and process improvements across the plant while working collaboratively to make a positive impact on our processes.

• Build a solid understanding of plant equipment, procedures, material flow, etc.
• Diagnose mechanical reasons for failure.
• Breakdown, assess, and rebuild gear reducers and pumps.
• Perform Arc, Tig, and Mig welding procedures.
• Layout, fabricate, and install all types of spouts, hoppers, transitions, and mechanical guards.
• Follow plant safety practices at all times.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair screw conveyors, belt conveyors, lift levers, and pneumatic conveyance systems.
• Work with vendors to improve plant maintenance practices.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years maintenance experience in industrial maintenance, military, or a related environment.

• Must be willing to work off shifts and overtime as needed.

The approximate hourly pay for this position is $40.87 for the Maintenance C rate. The pay progression plan follows:
Maintenance B $44.10, Maintenance A $46.23. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location.
