Maintenance Technician 1st Shift

• $28-$30/hour (Weekly Pay)

This is a 1st shift position for a Maintenance Technician responsible for ensuring the maintenance and operational support of product-specific work cells. The role focuses on minimizing downtime and optimizing productivity within the power transmission sector, especially in the mixing and mill area.

• Perform maintenance and support of product-specific work cells to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
• Respond promptly to any downtime situations to restore machine functionality.
• Conduct preventative maintenance on all work cells and accurately document maintenance performed.
• Evaluate and identify potential future maintenance needs and issues.
• Perform process verification procedures and follow process deviation procedures when changing parameters.
• Conduct repairs including fabricating, replacing bearings, and working on hydraulic pumps, cooling pumps, conveyors, belts, and drives.
• Perform minor facility maintenance repairs and collaborate with team members on maintenance issues.

• 5 years of experience in maintenance and preventative maintenance.
• 3 years of experience with hydraulic and pneumatic repairs.
• 3 years of experience in reading blueprints.
• Experience in facilities maintenance.

• Experience with heavy mixing equipment.
• Background in automation.
• Experience in the automotive industry.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of GRAND RAPIDS, MI.

The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $28.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in GRAND RAPIDS,MI.
