Maintenance Assistant
Community Skilled Health Care Centre – Warren, OH
Full-Time | Competitive Pay | Full Benefits
Community Skilled Health Care Centre is looking for a reliable and hands-on Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This role is key to keeping our building safe, functional, and comfortable for our residents and staff.
Responsibilities:- Assist with daily maintenance and repair tasks throughout the facility
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and HVAC troubleshooting
- Complete work orders in a timely manner
- Maintain a clean, safe, and hazard‑free environment
- Help with preventative maintenance programs
- Assist with room turnovers and setup
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Prior maintenance experience preferred (healthcare or skilled nursing a plus)
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repairs
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Strong attention to detail and reliability
- Must be able to lift, push, and pull as needed
