Description
Perform miscellaneous custodial duties to fill in for anyone on vacation or absent, as assigned.
Duties include:
- Set rooms for yearly camps, conferences, and other events, as requested.
- Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor.
- Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor.
- Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance.
- Service, clean, and disinfect apartments and dorm public areas including restrooms, offices, lounges, laundry rooms, kitchens, stairwells, halls and drinking fountains.
- Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner.
- Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster.
- Clean entry ways, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents.
- Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and door frames, as needed.
- Perform snow removal as required.
- Report to the Facilities Planning & Operations by job request any needed repairs or replacements.
- Assist supervisor or foreperson as needed.

- Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Assist supervisor or foreperson as needed.
- Clean and set rooms for yearly camps, conferences, and other events, as requested.
- Report to the Facilities Planning & Operations by job request anything that needs repairing or replacing.
- Snow removal, as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous custodial experience preferred.
- Ability to operate buffers, scrubbers, burnishers, extractors, and other custodial equipment.
- Exposure to fumes and/or chemicals.
- Lifting (weight) - 50 lbs.
Sunday - Thursday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, overtime available.
