Student Employee - Custodial Setups

Custodian

Sweep, dust mop, spot mop, spray buff, shower scrub, burnish, and refinish all hard surface floors throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Vacuum, spot clean, shampoo, extract carpets throughout the assigned area, or as assigned by the supervisor. Move furniture, equipment, materials, and perform other general maintenance. Service, clean, and disinfect restrooms, classrooms, offices, and clean drinking fountains.

Remove trash and debris from building to dumpster. Clean entry way, partition glass, interior windows, blinds, light fixtures, and vents. Replace light bulbs, as needed. Dust furniture, spot clean walls, ceilings, and doors/frames, as needed. Maintain custodial closets, work areas, and equipment in a clean and safe manner. Snow removal, as required. Report to the Facilities Main Office by job request anything that needs repairing or replacing.

Perform additional duties, as assigned by administrative or supervising personnel. Order and re-stock supplies. Assist or relieve relief custodian, as assigned.

Duties Include:

• Sanitizing high-touch surfaces
• Responding to work orders (including minor mold and floor issues)
• Emptying trash and recycling bins
• Mopping and floor care Cleaning restrooms, classrooms, hallways, offices, windows, and public areas

Education:

• High School diploma or Equivalent

Experience:

• Previous Custodial experience preferred.

Working Days and

Hours:

• Tue - Sat 9:00pm to 1:00am

Full-time staff & 12-month faculty benefits-eligible position:
