• Performs safety and operational tests on critical utility systems as mandated by regulatory agencies or hospital policies, including but not limited to: backflow preventions, water chemistry, alarms, steam traps, microwaves, emergency generators. Performs monthly generator test.
• Troubleshoots equipment using various diagnostic tools.
• Works independently with minimal supervision. Proficiently completes assignments and prioritizes workload.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid driver's license.

• Must be able to meet Fauquier Health driver's insurance eligibility requirements.
• Journeyman HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical certification is preferred.
• At least 3 years of previous facility maintenance experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.
