Janitorial Supervisor Warsaw Area (Warsaw, IN)
Pay: From $18.00-$20.00 per hour
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented 2nd shift Janitorial supervisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition. This role is essential for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and visitors.
Duties- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties such as restroom sanitation, waste disposal, and surface disinfection.
- Assist with custodial tasks in industrial settings as needed.
- Carry out facilities maintenance tasks to ensure all areas are functional and safe.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are stored properly and replenished as necessary.
- Maintain open communication with customers, employees and subcontractors
- Ensure adherence to company standards and quality
- Oversee cleaner schedules and arrange coverage for cleaner time off as needed
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated time frames.
- Ability to lift moderate weights and perform physical tasks associated with cleaning duties.
- Ability to pass drug screen
- Acceptable Criminal Background Screen
- Valid Driver's License
- Acceptable driving record to meet company insurance requirements
