Top 3 TechnicalSkills Required:
- Electrical work experience and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to bend conduit, properly size wire and breakers for circuits, perform aerial work, trace circuits, wire and hang transformers, install buss plugs
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams, knowledge of common components (sensors, motors, relays, connectors, power supplies)
- 4-year degree required
- 2-5 years of experience required
40 hours per week, with optional overtime available. This is an onsite position.
Responsibilities:Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, performing a variety of duties in the electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas. You will construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, diagnose, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems. You will work from schematics, engineering drawings, and written or verbal instructions, operate related equipment, conduct tests, and report data in a prescribed format.
Additional responsibilities include performing calibration and alignment checks, making adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed, and preparing prescribed compounds and solutions. You will provide technical support in areas such as production, operations, maintenance, safety, testing, process improvement, or product development using schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, or defined plans to perform testing and troubleshooting on electronic or mechanical components, equipment, or systems.
AdditionalInformation:
As a seasoned individual contributor, you will work under limited supervision and provide assistance and training to lower-level employees. You will run minor projects, perform tests, interpret data, and develop reports. You will face technical problems that may require some analysis to understand and resolve, and you are expected to independently propose solutions for supervisor review.
Communication will primarily be with internal contacts, where you will obtain and provide technical information on matters of moderate importance to the job area. You will also be responsible for providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees within the job area.
We require complete and broad knowledge of operational systems, techniques, and practices typically gained through extensive experience and/or education. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience is required, and vocational or technical education or certification may be necessary in addition to prior work experience.
