Maintenance Manager, Facility Maintenance, Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance
Position Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Group Leader, Facilities Maintenance to oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of a manufacturing facility during the Crew G shift. This leader will be responsible for supervising maintenance personnel, ensuring equipment and facility reliability, supporting production objectives, and maintaining a safe and efficient working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and supervise a team of maintenance and facilities technicians to ensure timely, safe, and effective completion of maintenance activities.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and predictive maintenance programs to maximize equipment uptime and reliability.
- Partner with production, engineering, and operations teams to minimize downtime and support manufacturing goals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
- Manage maintenance-related budgets, inventory, and procurement of tools, equipment, and spare parts.
- Oversee facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, compressed air, and other building infrastructure systems.
- Respond to emergency maintenance situations and coordinate corrective actions to restore operations.
- Train, coach, and mentor maintenance team members while fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and professional development.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, equipment histories, inspection reports, and work order documentation within the maintenance management system.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and increased operational efficiency.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Technology, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of facilities and/or maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment.
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience with a demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop teams.
- Strong working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and facility building systems.
- Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across departments.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and other applicable safety standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and maintenance reporting tools.
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Experience managing contractor relationships and facility improvement projects.
- Certification in a maintenance, facilities, or safety-related discipline is a plus.
The expected annual base salary range for this position is $108,877 - $163,316. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, education, certifications, location, and overall business needs.
