Mathematics Teacher

Edu Talent Group are hiring a Secondary Teacher of Maths for a prestigious British international school in Washington, USA. This role offers the opportunity to teach Maths across Years 7 to 13, including IGCSE and IB, in a supportive and dynamic international environment. You will deliver high-quality lessons that develop critical thinking, cultural awareness, and a love of learning, while contributing to a globally minded curriculum that encourages inquiry-based learning.

As part of your role, you will actively promote the school’s vision, mission, values, and aims, ensuring students are supported to become confident, well-rounded “international citizens.” You will also play a key role in assessing and monitoring student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs, and contributing to the wider life of the school through clubs, societies, and community events.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Maths or a relevant field
• Minimum of three years post-qualification teaching experience
• Strong experience teaching IGCSE Maths, with exposure to IB or A Level desirable
• Experience teaching KS3 Maths and knowledge of the UK Curriculum
• Proven ability to plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons that meet a range of student needs
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to maintain high standards of student behaviour and engagement
• Experience with assessment, tracking student progress, and using data to inform teaching
• Commitment to contributing to pastoral care and wider school life, including extracurricular activities
• UK passport holder and eligible to work in the USA
• Competitive salary of $78,213 per annum
