Functional Trainer; On-site and Secret Clearance REQUIRED

Micro Health is seeking a Senior Functional Trainer to support our client in Washington, DC.

• On‑site support required.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel required.
• Active Secret clearance required.

• Provide worldwide support and perform training activities for health IT training tasks.
• Deliver user training, both on‑site and remotely, to maintain user skills and educate on system enhancements.
• Deliver train‑the‑super‑user training and organize sessions specific to various MED roles, coordinating, developing, and delivering computer‑related training to the health IT community.
• Provide second‑level support and coordinate training with help desks.
• Offer guidance on health IT training programs, including development, delivery, and coordination of training courses and materials that address training needs for government agency personnel.
• Develop and maintain a Training Plan that provides a roadmap and associated materials for EHR training.
• Collect post‑training feedback to identify modifications to the training program and documentation.
• The Training Plan shall include:
  • Recommended training strategy for the EHR rollout (e.g., initial user training) and ongoing support (e.g., refresher training, new release training).
  • Supporting training documentation, including manuals and materials specific to the EHR system.
• May require shift work.

• Minimum 4 years of experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in training and development, human resources, education, or instructional design; or 4–6 years of industry training experience (additional 4 years of relevant experience may be considered as a substitute).
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and superior oral and written communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Excellent planning and time‑management skills.
• Proficiency in computer technology and Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to convey complex information in a way that students can understand.

• Must possess and maintain an active SECRET clearance.
