The SAVP provides graduate program leaders with innovative approaches for key enrollment management processes and initiatives, which include admissions, financial aid, and registrar efforts, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and the delivery of quality services and institutional targets. The SAVP collaborates with academic program leaders across the university to address enrollment challenges, optimize enrollment processes, and support efforts to build student bodies of diverse perspectives.
AdditionalDuties Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Lead the development and execution of a multi‑year, data‑informed strategic enrollment management plan to provide services for graduate programs by monitoring enrollment trends, demographics, and market dynamics.
- Provide leadership for the university's enrollment management efforts, coordinating strategies to achieve enrollment targets across graduate, on‑site, online, and transfer student populations, managing relationships from inquiry through registration.
- Communicate and cross‑fertilize innovations in enrollment management in service to graduate programs throughout the university.
- Serve as a member of key leadership councils and committees, representing the enrollment management interests and collaborating with senior leadership on university‑wide issues.
- Collaborate with graduate program leaders in efforts to improve recruitment strategies and initiatives, including digital engagement, partnerships, and pipeline programs to optimize student acquisition and yield.
- Design and offer services to academic programs regarding digital marketing and communications efforts to reach prospective students.
- Oversee administration of Office of Graduate Studies’ financial aid programs to optimize access and affordability.
- Collaborate with leaders of graduate programs to align financial aid strategies with enrollment objectives of the academic programs; oversee merit aid team.
- Design and disseminate protocols of a student‑centered admissions process that is transparent, responsive, and emphasizes an exceptional experience for prospective students and families as they evaluate Georgetown programs.
- Build strategic relationships with college counselors, CBOs (College & Career Access Organizations), and industry partners, when these offer complementary outreach to strong applicants.
- Oversee the utilization and enhancement of enrollment systems, offered to graduate programs, such as Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, to optimize operational efficiency and the student experience.
- Utilize data‑driven insights and predictive modeling in coordination with the Office of Assessment and Decision Support (OADS) to provide performance indicators for program effectiveness, student services, and financial aid strategies.
- Collaborate with a diverse and talented team of professionals across enrollment functional areas (Admissions, Financial Aid, Registrar, etc.), fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability, including a current staff of four individuals focused on graduate studies.
- Collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, including faculty, deans, student affairs, and the office of communications, to build strong partnerships that support student recruitment and retention for diverse academic programs.
