Milk Education are currently recruiting a Behaviour Mentor to work across Primary schools in Washington, supporting pupils with social, emotional and behavioural needs.
This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference and helping children overcome barriers to learning.
The Role:- Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis or in small groups
- Working with children with SEMH, SEND or behavioural needs
- Implementing behaviour support strategies
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive engagement
- Working closely with class teachers, SENCOs and senior leaders
- Experience working with children or young people (school-based or transferable experience)
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and resilient approach
- The ability to build positive and trusting relationships
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
