Toddler Montessori Guide

Montessori International Children’s House (MICH) is seeking an experienced, AMI-trained Toddler Guide to join our faculty for the 2026–2027 school year. This is a special opportunity for a guide to step into a well-established Toddler Community with strong foundations, consistent routines, and a deeply prepared environment.

For over 40 years, MICH has offered an authentic Montessori education on a peaceful, wooded campus in the heart of Annapolis, Maryland. Our Toddler Community serves children ages 18 months to 2.5 years in small classes of 9–12, supported by trained assistants and a collaborative leadership team.

The incoming Toddler Guide will inherit a classroom with clear systems, engaged families, and a culture grounded in respect and care for the whole child. To support a thoughtful and successful transition, the new guide will have access to mentorship and support from the outgoing Toddler Guide, who brings over 25 years of experience, as needed. This creates a rare opportunity to benefit from deep institutional knowledge while making the role your own.

• Holds an AMI Toddler Diploma
• Has experience guiding toddlers in an authentic Montessori environment
• Values collaboration, mentorship, and strong partnerships with families

• Is committed to ongoing professional growth and reflective practice
