Resource Special Education Teacher (K–12)

Hours:

37.5/week (Weekdays)

We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher to provide high-quality instructional support to students in grades K–12. Under the direction of the Special Education Program Administrator, this role participates in developing and implementing individualized student programs, collaborating closely with general education staff, and delivering specialized instruction and academic support.

• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• Valid state teaching certificate (Special Education preferred)
• Preferred certifications:
  Elementary, Secondary, Special Teaching
• LBS1 endorsement preferred
• One year of teaching experience preferred
• CPR, TB/PPD, and health certificate if required
• Must meet all state, federal, and district requirements
• Must be 18 or older

• Population:
  Mild–severe needs, ages 5–8
• Setting:
  Resource Room
