Educational Support Specialist

Job purpose:

Educational Support Specialist/ Paraprofessional provide in-person instructional support to teachers and students in general or special education classrooms (pre-elementary through secondary). Their work enhances learning environments by supporting academic programs and applying strategies that promote student success.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with daily instruction under the direction of Teaching Supervisors.
Support classroom management using approved behavioral and instructional techniques.
Track and report student progress using approved record-keeping systems.
Maintain a safe, healthy, and compliant learning environment.
Support students by utilizing available academic resources and materials.
Help develop and implement individualized education plans.
Provide uninterrupted one-on-one support to assigned students.
Participate in training workshops
Collaborate professionally with Teaching Supervisors and follow directives.
Uphold standards of professional conduct and demonstrate required competencies.

Skills/

Qualifications:

A minimum of 48-60 credit hours
Successful completion of background check
Successful completion of TAMAH, LLC's comprehensive pre-employment screening process.

Work Location (IN PERSON)
Required to work on site at the location as assigned.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 1 - 37.5 per week
