JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the management, planning, and coordination of course scheduling, maintaining student academic records and graduation activities and services. In that capacity, the position oversees program operation, and performs all related administrative duties.

NATURE AND SCOPE:

Internal contacts include administrators, faculty, staff and students. External contacts include, Associate/Assistant Registrars, University Registrar or designee, coordinators, visitors, alumni and the general public.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
  • Organizes, maintains, administers and digitizes student academic records for MSW and doctoral programs.
  • Generates and prepares a variety of academic and enrollment data reports to support the forecasting of future schedules, planning, program management, and accreditation.
  • Oversees the academic requirements for graduation.
  • Troubleshoots and resolves registration errors on behalf of students and faculty.
  • Develops and updates class schedules for each semester.
  • Monitors class enrollment for each semester.
  • Notifies students regarding their academic standing and other academic requirements.
  • Keeps student information confidential and secure.
  • Participates in student service committees and initiatives.
  • Develops and implements procedures to ensure the integrity of student records.
  • Performs regular audits on academic records and transcripts.
  • Manages all administrative processes and activites/programs related to each graduation cycle
  • Supports school-wide programs and activities
  • Researches and responds to student inquiries.
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in related field such as criminal Justice, social work, law
  • Three to five years' experience in Higher education preferred or related field.
  • Working knowledge of Title IX, Clery Act, and other federal and state impacts on the work of student conduct administration and higher education.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage competing tasks and prioritize work in a dynamic environment.
  • Desired in addition to minimum requirements:
  • Experience working with faculty, staff and students and an ability to navigate complex systems.
  • Ability to facilitate trainings, do student programming and outreach
  • Understanding of student development theory and ability to translate into practice of student conduct administration.
  • Experience adjudicating student conduct violations in either a university level setting or a Residence Life and Housing setting.
Compliance Salary Range Disclosure
