What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating one‑hour life skills sessions with K‑2 students, coaching them while reinforcing literacy skills delivered by Reading Specialists
  • Inspiring students to progress through adaptive learning platforms and meet their weekly academic targets
  • Guiding emotional regulation, resilience, and problem‑solving through consistent routines and supportive engagement
  • Monitoring student development and identifying challenges early, then refining approaches in partnership with your team
  • Building a classroom environment that balances structure, energy, and individual connection

  • Delivering instruction in core academic subjects—our adaptive Apps handle that

Basic Requirements
  • Availability to work full‑time and in‑person at one of our campuses:
    Chicago, IL;
    Miami, FL;
    Palo Alto, CA;
    Piedmont, CA;
    San Francisco, CA;
    Santa Monica, CA;
    Lake Forest (Orange County), CA
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any discipline
  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience with children ages 4–7 in educational settings, after school programs, coaching roles, or comparable contexts
  • Strong storytelling ability and dynamic presentation skills: capable of captivating and maintaining the focus of young learners in group settings
  • Capacity to maintain high expectations for both yourself and students, and motivate children to achieve their objectives
  • Growth‑oriented mindset with a receptive attitude toward feedback and coaching
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship

Working with us

This is a full‑time (40 hours per week), long‑term position. The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $60 USD/hour, which equates to $120,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
