As an Innovation Policy Manager
, you will work with internal and external collaborators to design, create, develop, and execute experiences and events that demonstrate the value of AI, wearables, virtual reality (VR), and other cutting-edge technologies to policy audiences.

You will develop policy partnerships with innovation stakeholders, including AI developers, and design initiatives to build community and outreach capabilities. The role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including Policy, Product, Marketing, Partnerships, Legal, and Communications
.

The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge and experience with AI solutions and the policy considerations surrounding emerging technologies
. You will also manage strategic outreach and policy campaigns, advocate for AI innovation, and communicate its positive economic and social impact.

This role involves frequent domestic travel
.

Responsibilities
  • Lead demos that provide policy audiences with hands‑on experiences with AI solutions, wearables, VR, and other emerging technologies
    .
  • Develop, create, and execute innovation policy experiences and events to educate and inform policy stakeholders.
  • Develop strategic outreach programs and policy campaigns highlighting the economic and social value of AI innovation
    .
  • Engage with policymakers, trade associations, industry partners, key opinion leaders, nonprofit organizations
    , and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate cross‑functionally with Product, Marketing, Legal, Communications, Partnerships
    , and global policy teams.
  • Build coalitions and partnerships with external organizations to advance company policy goals.
  • Develop and project‑manage innovative policy programs and campaigns, including initiatives supporting new AI products.
  • Independently manage smaller advocacy campaigns and contribute to larger campaigns as a primary client lead when appropriate.
  • Lead cross‑functional initiatives involving internal and external stakeholders to champion AI innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Policy, Law, Political Science
    , or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in policy or legal roles, with a focus on AI technology or related emerging technologies
    .
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AI technologies, wearables, VR, programs and campaigns, security, privacy, integrity, competition
    , and related policy environments.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with AI, open-source innovation, wearables, and VR
    .
  • Experience engaging with policy stakeholders and external organizations
    .
  • Experience developing and executing policy programs and advocacy campaigns
    .
