This is a key leadership position requiring the successful candidate to be based on-site in Washington, D.C.What You'll DoDesign, develop, and deliver new-hire and ongoing training curricula, materials, job aids, and assessments for program staff.
Recruit, supervise, coach, and evaluate a team of training specialists/trainers, ensuring consistent, high-quality training delivery.
Partner with program leadership and subject-matter experts to identify training needs and translate them into effective learning solutions.
Coordinate with content and knowledge-management staff to ensure training materials reflect current, approved policies, procedures, and guidance.
Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through assessments, quality reviews, and performance data, and recommend and implement improvements.
Maintain training records, schedules, and documentation to support compliance and client reporting requirements.
Onboard new employees and coordinate refresher, remedial, or cross-training as needs are identified.
Stay current on adult-learning best practices, instructional design methods, and training technology and tools.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, business, human resources, communications, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of three (3) years of experience developing and delivering training programs, including at least one (1) year in a supervisory or lead capacity.
Demonstrated experience designing curricula and training materials for adult learners.
Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and common learning management system (LMS) platforms.
Must be able to work on-site in Washington, D.C.Must be able to obtain and maintain any clearance or background investigation required by the contract.
Preferred Qualifications Prior training or workforce development experience in a customer service, contact center, or government contracting environment.
Instructional design credentials (e.g., ATD, CPLP) or formal coursework in adult learning theory.
Experience training staff on regulatory, compliance, or public-benefits program requirements.
Familiarity with quality assurance and performance-monitoring processes.
