Microsoft M365 Trainer

Hybrid 2 days onsite / 3 days remote in Washington, DC

Our client seeks a Microsoft M365 Trainer to develop and deliver training that improves workplace efficiency across Microsoft 365 and other enterprise applications. The trainer will collaborate with IT and stakeholders to assess needs, design curriculum, facilitate in-person and virtual classes, and provide post-session support. The role includes creating learning materials, managing assessments and feedback, and maintaining documentation and reports while staying current on relevant application updates.

Rate: $35.00 to $38.00/hr. w2

• Collaborate with IT and stakeholders to identify training needs and objectives.
• Design comprehensive curriculum for Microsoft 365 and enterprise applications aligned to organizational goals.
• Develop training materials including manuals, presentations, and e-learning modules.
• Facilitate engaging in-person and virtual classes, including department-specific and 1:1 sessions.
• Customize content for different learning styles and proficiency levels.
• Provide hands-on demonstrations and simulations to reinforce learning.
• Offer ongoing support and assistance during and after sessions.
• Implement assessments to evaluate training effectiveness and track progress.
• Gather participant feedback and iterate materials and delivery methods.
• Maintain records of sessions, attendance, outcomes, and best practices.
• Prepare reports for management review with recommendations.
• Stay current on updates to Microsoft 365 and related applications. Pursue continued learning and certifications as appropriate.

• 6 to 10 years as a Microsoft M365 applications and services technical trainer.
• Proven corporate IT training experience.
• Hands-on proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and common enterprise platforms such as CRM and ERP systems.
• Clear communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences.
• Effective collaboration with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to adapt content and delivery to different learners.
• Patient, approachable, and supportive training style.
• Experience with instructional design principles and learning management systems is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred. Equivalent experience may substitute for a degree.
