Mathematics Teacher; High School

Our client is looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Mathematics Teacher for their high school in George . This position involves imparting a deep understanding of mathematical concepts to secondary students, fostering analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities. You will be instrumental in preparing students for academic success and inspiring a lifelong appreciation for mathematics. • Deliver high-quality mathematics instruction to high school students across various grade levels.
• Develop and adapt curriculum to meet diverse student needs and learning styles, incorporating algebra , calculus , and geometry.
• Create and administer assessments to monitor student understanding and academic progress.
• Foster a positive and challenging classroom environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Collaborate with other faculty members on interdisciplinary projects and school-wide initiatives.
• Provide guidance and support to students, helping them develop essential mathematical skills for future studies.

• A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field, with a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (PGCE) or equivalent.
• Registered with the South African Council for Educators (SACE).
• Demonstrated experience in teaching high school mathematics.
• Strong understanding of the national mathematics curriculum and assessment standards.
