Overview
Our client, a leader in facilities management within the logistics and distribution industry, is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join their team. As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator, you will be part of the Facilities Management Department supporting multiple manual sortation sites. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Coordinator
Location: Remote
Pay Range: Open
ResponsibilitiesManage the selection, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation of material-handling and facility-maintenance vendors.
Collaborate closely with local facility management and district staff to ensure system uptime, reliability, and continuous improvement.
Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs of material-handling systems in accordance with company standards and procedures.
Monitor vendor performance through audits, evaluations, and property assessments, taking corrective actions when necessary.
Maintain accurate documentation of facility and material handling activities, ensuring compliance with company standards.
High School Diploma or GED;
Associates degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology or business administration preferred.10+ years of relevant experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all management levels.
Knowledge of mechanical and electrical design, troubleshooting, and repair practices related to power transmission and conveyor systems.
