**** Friday Harbor Labs has an outstanding opportunity for a Custodian to join their team.
** This is an in person position located in Friday Harbor, WA in the San Juan Islands.
** About this Opportunity
** The Custodian is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and care of housing units, dining halls, lecture halls, and other on-site campus facilities.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Empty garbage cans and deposit trash in campus collection stations
* Follow written and/or verbal instructions regarding the use of chemicals, supplies and equipment; comply with safety policies and procedures
* Cleaning of rooms, bathrooms, lecture hall and meeting room spaces, dining hall, commons area, housing units, office spaces, lab buildings, etc.
* May wash interior or easily accessible exterior windows
* May move furniture and supplies on an incidental basis
* Report cleaning supply inventory
* May support event operations with set up and breakdown
* Perform other duties as assigned
