Position Overview

Join a dynamic team as an Associate Facilities Coordinator, responsible for performing and documenting preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on various equipment and building systems. This role supports the smooth and safe operation of physical facilities within a healthcare environment located in the Pacific Northwest region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute requisitioned, emergent, and scheduled maintenance tasks on buildings, equipment, and offsite facilities.
  • Communicate daily with the Facilities Manager regarding facility conditions and work progress.
  • Ensure maintenance requests are completed timely and work sites are clean with tools properly returned.
  • Conduct periodic inspections to assess facility conditions and recommend necessary improvements.
  • Maintain and repair electrical distribution, mechanical, HVAC, power generation, plumbing, and medical gas systems.
  • Inspect, calibrate, adjust, lubricate, and replace components as needed.
  • Respond to after-hours emergency repair calls during scheduled on-call periods.
  • Diagnose malfunctions in mechanical and electrical equipment and perform necessary repairs.
Education

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience

Two to three years of relevant experience in electrical, mechanical, plumbing, building automation controls, refrigeration, or pneumatic systems preferred.

Professional Requirements

Adherence to regulatory standards and punctuality are essential. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication skills and a respectful, helpful attitude toward patients, guests, and staff.
