Fun Center Assistant Technician

Full-time

The Assistant Technician service crew must be knowledgeable of company policies and procedures and be able to implement these effectively. Assistant Technician is responsible for assisting in the performance of all arcade maintenance and must maintain positive customer and crew relations.

• Work under the guidance of the Technical Manager and/or General Manager
• Handle the latest video games and skill games, kiddie rides, soft play, bumper cars, laser tag, mini bowling, racing karts, kitchen equipment, and register systems.
• Repair and/or replace defective electronic components and take responsibility for timely scheduled and unscheduled inspections.
• Perform daily preventative maintenance and repairs on arcade games and equipment.
• Maintain facilities that are clean, safe and in good repair.
• Provide routine maintenance support.
• Communicate verbally and in writing about daily occurrences that arise.
• Assist in troubleshooting and basic repairs of corporate machinery.

• Perform other duties as assigned by the Technical Manager.

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Basic working knowledge of hand tools.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Attention to detail.
• Time management and a sense of urgency.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills; strong client/customer service skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team.

• The work is performed mainly inside the fun center.
• Strong customer service is essential.
• The position requires routine walking, standing, bending, twisting, and carrying items weighing no more than fifty pounds.
• Availability for nights, weekends, and holidays is required.

This is an overtime non‑exempt full‑time position.

$16.00–$18.00 per hour
