Floor Technician

Job Summary

As a Floor Technician at Accolade Healthcare, you will be a key member of the Maintenance and Housekeeping team, responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the facility’s floor surfaces. Your duties include sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, buffing, and waxing floors, with occasional responsibilities for cleaning carpets, windows, and walls. While training is available for the right candidate, prior janitorial experience and familiarity with cleaning products and equipment are preferred.

Pay Rate: $17-$19 per hour

• Sweeping and mopping floors to maintain cleanliness.
• Assisting with stripping, buffing, and waxing floor surfaces.
• Cleaning and shampooing carpets to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Performing light cleaning duties for windows and walls.
• Maintaining cleaning equipment and supplies to ensure readiness and effectiveness.
• Following workplace safety standards and procedures.
• Performing other duties as assigned to support housekeeping and maintenance operations.
• Other duties as assigned.

• A High School Diploma or GED certificate (preferred).
• Prior cleaning or janitorial experience (required).
• A valid driver’s license.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure high cleaning standards.
• The ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds safely and efficiently.
