1st Shift Utility​/Facility Grounds Maintenance

Position:
Utility/Facility Grounds Maintenance.

• Light maintenance repairs, lawn and snow care, custodial duties.
• Carpentry, painting, and other facilities functions.
• Snow removal and landscaping duties as directed.
• Assist the Physical Plant team to meet campus facility needs.

• First shift: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday.
• Ability to read and write; knowledge of proper use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to operate lawn and snow‑removal equipment.
• Evaluating situations and making good decisions.
• Ability to read and respond to caution labels for cleaning chemicals and trade tools.
• Must pass a criminal background check and fitness‑for‑duty test.
• Acceptable driving record desirable.
• Minimum of two years’ experience preferred; good to superior references recommended.
• HS diploma or GED certificate required.
