Housekeeping Aide Job Summary

Mount Joseph at Waterville is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Aide to join our team! As a valued member of our housekeeping department, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facility, ensuring a positive and comfortable environment for our residents.

• Perform day-to-day housekeeping and laundry functions as assigned, including cleaning and sanitizing resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas
• Clean and polish furniture, fixtures, and appliances to ensure a high level of cleanliness and attention to detail
• Clean windows, mirrors, and floors using appropriate cleaning solutions and equipment
• Clean and disinfect carpets, walls, and ceilings, including vacuuming, shampooing, and deodorizing
• Remove dirt, dust, and grease from surfaces using proper cleaning and disinfecting solutions
• Clean and restock linen closets, laundry areas, and supply rooms
• Discard waste and trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacles
• Perform terminal cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged or transferred

• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive customer service attitude toward customers, clients, and co-workers
• Anticipate and respond to customer needs in a professional and timely manner
