Sanitation Technician I – Shift 1

• Maintain overall cleanliness of the building, including offices, labs, and plant.
• Sweep, mop, scrub, or vacuum floors.
• Gather and empty trash and recycling bins.
• Service, clean, and supply restrooms, locker rooms, kitchens, and fitness room.
• Clean and dust furniture and fixtures.
• Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using soapy water or other cleaners.
• Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment in the office area.
• Check electrical appliance use to prevent hazards.
• Move heavy furniture and supplies manually or with hand trucks.
• Notify supervisor of needed major repairs to building systems.
• Remove snow from sidewalks using shovels and apply snow‑melting chemicals.
• Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, etc., for events.
• Clean sinks and wash dishes in kitchens and break rooms; load dishwashers.
• Participate in the recycling program by breaking down corrugated packaging and storing for disposal.
• Accurately complete daily checklists and documentation for assigned work area.
• Perform any other responsibilities as required.

• High School Diploma (or GED or equivalent).
• Trained in GMPs – able to be trained.
• Capacity to follow directions and perform duties with limited supervision.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Must wear steel‑toed shoes, safety goggles, and a mask as necessary.
• Constant awareness of chemicals and safety requirements; follow safety steps.
• Ability to be trained to drive a forklift.

Hourly rate: $17.00 (first shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm).

Wauconda, Illinois – Onsite. On the first shift (Monday‑Friday, 6:00am–2:30pm). Reporting to:
Production Supervisor.
