Summary

This position maintains a safe working environment by cleaning and performing routine building maintenance within the dealership’s Service Department and shop areas.

Responsibilities
  • Cleans (including sweeping & mopping) all surfaces and floors within the Service Department (shop and other areas as assigned)
  • Performs routine building maintenance (inside and outside)
  • Cleans oil storage tanks according to procedures
  • Drains and disposes of used oil filters properly
  • Removes any old scrap parts from shop after checking with parts manager
  • Assists technicians with oil and water spills and with emptying drain tubs
  • Runs errands as directed by shop foreman
  • Understands and complies with OSHA Right-to-Know and other federal, state, and local regulations
  • Uses proper eye, hand and body protection when using products that require protection
  • Maintains professional appearance
  • Other tasks as assigned
Requirements
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information
  • Ability to work in a team-based environment
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ability to commute to work on time for duration of shift
  • Must be able to submit and clean background check
Work Hours & Schedule

Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm
